(sorry if that's an actual title of a book) But you get to go through the grief together with him. He doesn't necessarily answer your questions & it's definitely not a "5 ways to grieve" kind of book. Questions I feel I also asked myself through the periods of grief in my life. This new edition includes the original text of A Grief Observed alongside specially commissioned responses to the book and its themes from respected. He speaks from his own experience of losing his wife. I feel the thing that is so special about this book is he's willing to go to the "ugly" places that many people don't really go to. So, I figured I'd talk a bit about it & why I liked it. ![]() This book was given to me by a dear friend & I'm so grateful she knew to give it to me. ![]() ![]() I highly recommend his book if you're going through a time of loss & grief. I'm still working out all my thoughts on grief & losing those I loved to cancer as well our first baby to a miscarriage & even re reading some parts of this book has been helpful. I've read his book "A Grief Observed" a few times & it really resonated with me every time I picked it up to read. ![]() A lot of his work has helped me greatly understand this life better & understand suffering better.
